How we make money
One way: by selling our own HIPAA templates and staff training. Everything else on this site is free, and no vendor pays us anything.
What we sell
HIPAA templates and staff training for small practices and the companies that serve them. These are the only things we charge for.
What we don't do
- No affiliate links or referral fees.
- No paid placements, sponsored rankings or "featured" vendors.
- No selling or sharing your details with vendors.
- No advertising.
Product tables are alphabetical, every product is judged on the same criteria, and every fact links to its source. Links to vendors are plain links to their own websites.
When our own product is in a comparison
Where a topic overlaps with something we sell — such as HIPAA training — we include our product in the comparison, because leaving it out would hide a real option. It is always clearly labeled as ours, judged on the same criteria as everyone else, and listed in the same alphabetical order. The page also says at the top that it includes our own product.
If this ever changes
If we ever decide to take referral fees or work with vendors as partners, we will say so on this page and label every paid link on the page where it appears. Partners would never be able to change their position, criteria values or facts.
