Everything on this site — pages, tables, tools and free downloads — is general information about HIPAA and related rules. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship. Decisions about your obligations should be made with qualified counsel who knows your situation.
Accuracy
We cite a source and a check date for each fact and follow our methodology, but vendors change plans and agreements and regulators issue new rules and guidance. We can't guarantee that every fact is complete or current when you read it. Confirm important facts with the vendor or the regulator before you rely on them, and please tell us if something is out of date.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any vendor we cover, and we take no commissions — see how we make money. Product and company names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify them.
Using our content

Free downloads
Free files such as the Vendor & BAA Register are provided as is. You are responsible for adapting them to your organization and checking them against current rules and vendor terms.

Buying our templates and training is governed by the Terms of Sale and Licence and the Refund Policy, in addition to these terms.
What you send us
Reports and messages you send may be used to correct and improve the site. Don't include protected health information or anything confidential.
